CAS Sophomore Feeling “Pretty Good” About Joke Tweet
NEW YORK, NY—Patting himself on the back as he watched his Twitter notifications, sophomore Timothy Harris “was delighted” about the reaction towards a recent humorous tweet he had posted. “It was rather solid, but I can certainly say I wasn’t expecting 4 favorites. Shit just escalated so quickly,” said a visibly ecstatic Harris, who is currently studying Comparative Literature at NYU’s College of Arts and Sciences. “A lot of my friends are at Tisch [School of the Arts], so it’s nice to finally be able to show them that they aren’t the only funny guys around.” When polled about their opinions on the tweet, half of Timothy’s friends agreed that it wasn’t “that funny”, while an additional one fourth admitted they were actually upset at the attention it was getting.
