Even though he always asks the question at the beginning of each class, Nature of Success Professor Chris Stenton admits to never even doing the readings himself.
“The subject matter in my class is very boring, and the articles I’ve assigned are so long,” Stenton explains, holding his backpack over one shoulder. “It’s like, the grading is so easy that everyone gets A’s anyway, so why should I have to do it?”
Stenton continued: “Really when I ask that question, my intention is for one of the students to tell me what it was about. Because I don’t know.”
Professor Stenton hopes his methods will encourage his students to drop out of his class, so he doesn’t have to keep teaching it.
