Sophomore Purchases Hare Krishna From Union Square Holiday Market for Family Back Home

Seeking to give her family a taste of authentic New York, sophomore Melissa Anathy turned to the Union Square holiday market for all of her gift needs, eventually settling on a nice Hare Krishna. “My parents always love the excitement and noise of New York, so I know they’ll love this authentic Hare Krishna. He sings and plays his little squeeze box – all the time!” said Melissa while politely turning down his attempts at converting her. “And this way, we won’t have to focus on that class I failed this semester.” While the Hare Krishna seemed to be happy at time of purchase, it’s important to note that caring for a Hare Krishna is a big responsibility, and they can become irritable if they aren’t regularly watered.
